our story
The Drs. Thompson met while pursuing their undergraduate degrees at the University of Missouri, Columbia. Upon graduation, they enrolled together at Logan College of Chiropractic and went on to receive their Doctorates of Chiropractic in 1999.
Drs. Mike and Nicole began their chiropractic careers practicing in Denver and then Colorado Springs, CO. This was a wonderful experience, but when an opportunity to buy their own office in Boonville and be close to family presented itself, it seemed to be an answer to prayer.
Drs. Mike and Nicole Thompson work together to provide an exceptional chiropractic experience. They enjoy treating every patient, from newborn babies to the elderly. They have witnessed many conditions responding favorably to chiropractic care. These include low back pain, mid-back pain, neck pain, shoulder pain, rib pain, headaches, sports injuries, tennis and golfer’s elbow, carpal tunnel, hip and knee pains, feet and ankle pains, sciatica, plantar fasciitis, earaches, newborn musculoskeletal birth trauma, and infant colic to name just a few.

Tracy YoungOffice ManagerI have been with Restoration Health since 2018. Even though my title is "office manager," you will see me in both the front and back of the office. I do a little bit of everything around here, and am one of the friendly faces you will encounter at Restoration Health. I love to find ways to make people smile, and my goal is to create a positive visit for every patient. It is extremely important to me that each patient feels comfortable in our office.
Dr. Thompson and I work extremely well together to provide the best service possible for patients, which includes a lot of laughter; it is the best medicine. I am a bit on the goofy side, but don't let that fool you. I will consistently provide you with the best care I can. You are not just a patient or number to me; you will be treated as though you are family, which leads nicely into one of my favorite quotes: "Ohana means family. Family means nobody gets left behind or forgotten." |
Amber Lammerschiropractic assistantHi, I'm Amber! I was born in Fayette and raised in Boonville. I am a mom of four kids, three boys, and finally our little girl. I am one of the biggest fans of the Kansas City Chiefs that you will meet. My background is a Bachelor of Arts in both Psychology and Sociology.
I started working with Dr. Thompson as a chiropractic assistant in June of 2019. I am more hands on here in the clinic and work alongside Dr. Thompson on expanding ways to assist individuals in improving their way of life. I am most excited about being part of the developing of the Biohack Cafe. I strive to motivate and share the importance of “self care.” In July of 2018 I was at my highest weight and in my darkest place emotionally. I took a look in the mirror, disgusted with what I saw, and decided to make a change. I started working out each day for an hour, mainly because it was a feeling of something other than sadness for an hour. I often tell myself that, “I found myself in a CrossFit gym.” I learned and gained a passion of health and fitness. I developed the desire to do the right things for my body to develop a healthy mindset. My passion is to motivate and educate others in striving to develop their best self. I am looking forward to helping individuals better their health and lifestyle through our chiropractic services and our Biohack Cafe. |
