Our Background
The Drs. Thompson met while pursuing their undergraduate degrees at the University of Missouri, Columbia. Upon graduation, they enrolled together at Logan College of Chiropractic and went on to receive their Doctorates of Chiropractic in 1999.
Drs. Mike and Nicole began their Chiropractic careers practicing in Denver and then Colorado Springs, CO. This was a wonderful experience but Dr. Mike wished to be closer to home so they decided to moved back to the Central Missouri area.
While at Logan, Dr. Mike focused on the techniques of Logan Basic, Diversified, and Cox Distraction. He also acquired an additional certification in Applied Kinesiology, Auriculotherapy, and training and certification in Acupuncture Meridian Therapy under Dr. Jon Sunderlage, D.C., L.Ac.
Along with Logan Basic and Diversified Techniques, Dr. Nicole has received additional certification in Activator Methods and Acupuncture Meridian Therapy and is trained in Auriculotherapy.
What makes us unique?
The combination of chiropractic, acupuncture, and auriculotherapy allows us to achieve results in our patients that come more quickly and last longer.
The use of auriculotherapy in our stop-smoking program is particularly rewarding and fun due to its high rate of success in stopping a habit that is so harmful to a person's health. The success stories we hear daily through our word-of-mouth referrals is what it is all about.
